Turbo Recordings presents the second in a series of club-vanquishing EPs from @dukedumont.

Following the rapturous reception of his first club-centric EP for Turbo, as well as remixes for Santigold and the forthcoming AlunaGeorge single, UK superproducer Duke Dumont returns to tighten his stranglehold on the worldwide nightgeist with FOR CLUB PLAY ONLY VOL. 2, this time training his sights on the Vocal Anthem heavyweight title.

A-side "No Money Blues" brings UK bass and deep house into the realm of crossover pop, while "The Giver" is an ecstatic vocal house anthem that would fit seamlessly alongside the most uplifting MURK classics. These are probably the two most "feel-good" tracks we will put out all year, but the impeccable level of quality actually lets you "feel good" about "feeling good."

This EP positions Dumont as the versatile international hitmaker we know him to be, establishing a globe-spanning Dukedom to unite us all.

With what might turn out to be one of the biggest tracks of the year, the massive 'What I Might Do' by Ben Pearce is here. Solomun, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and Pete Tong are all already on board with championing this slick combination of soulful urban vocals and irresistible grooving deep house. It has graced danced floors from Berlin to Ibiza and is quickly developing into a runaway train... Ben Pearce - What I Might Do

Après une tournée à succès avec ses Mojos l’année dernière, Asaf Avidan annonce une « pause créative illimitée ».

L’attente en valait manifestement la peine.

Sur ce premier EP, prélude d’un nouvel album à paraître début 2013 chez Polydor, Asaf Avidan  pousse encore plus loin son songwriting  et l’immisce  naturellement dans de nouvelles sonorités  où folk et electronica offrent un écrin inédit à sa voix hors du commun.

En plus de 2 nouveaux titres, on découvrira également deux lectures de « Different Pulses », son 1er single à travers les remixes de Joris Delacroix, membre du collectif sudiste WOH Lab  et du duo JBNV (aka Nicolas Villebrun de Pony Hoax et Jacques Bon).
Artiste en perpétuel évolution, Asaf Avidan annonce avec Different Pulses un des albums les plus passionnant du début 2013.

I played a version of this on the FON tour but then Ken Loi added the Promise Land bit and sent it back to me and I added some more vocal.  In the end it slaps and that all that counts.
