Bringing us our next EXPLORATIONS we have Melbourne residing force of Nature CHELSEA BROWN.

Miss Brown was classically trained from a young age and while her fingers were learning the classical stuff her ears were rocking out to rock royalty SHIHAD and NIRVANA however it was a scorching gig from our own SALMONELLA DUB that sent her cartwheeling into the electronic world.

Travels and international experiences have further shaped this appreciation.
LAB parties in Melbourne, trips to Berlin and Australia's penchant for quality festivals further pushed her towards her destiny on the decks.

Running THE theme camp/doof destination BEAN BAG BABYLON has resulted in a fun, rewarding and rich education in electronica with constant talent on the revolving line up in BEAN BAG BABYLON.
Their RAINBOW SERPANT FESTIVAL closing sets are a thing of legend and have often hosted the worlds best for this occasion.

Taking inspiration from producers such as COSS. BEN BOHMER. ARATUNI and IORIE and labels such as KATTERMUKKE, ANUNJADEEP and BEAT N PATH. Her sound is an analogue bubbling warmth that is engaging and thoughtful.

This mix was recorded in a rare gap In Melbournes seemingly never ending lockdowns in a secluded picturesque landscape with the warm late afternoon sun shining down and this mix reflects just that.

Matt Drake has been a champion of timeless electronic body music in Aotearoa for more than two decades.

His style is a hypersonic melting pot of cosmic house jams and hypnotic techno grooves.

Drawing inspiration from the astral arpeggios of 70s Krautrock, ragged Balearic vagabond synth pop of the 80s and proto-rave machine rhythms of the 90s.

Drake has dedicated his life to music - being a core part of New Zealand's underground dance music scene since the early 90s - touring clubs, festivals and events across the land, a founding member of Nurture Recordings, running Crucial Records on Auckland's High Street, hosting the decade long Slipstream radio on George FM, running club nights such as Beatstreet, alongside touring some of the worlds most influential international acts.

By day Matt Drake doesn’t stray far from music as a product manager at Serato HQ, Rane and Denon - helping push the boundaries of DJ technology well into the future.

Drake is the creative director at Lo-Fi Productions and along with the Lo-Fi team, has been creating epic boutique music experiences with the very best house and techno artists from Aotearoa and from across the globe.
