Parisian based Danish/Filipino DJ and producer Manda Moor joins the Kaluki family this month bringing her debut release to the label in the shape of the ‘What U Want’ EP. A regular DJ at underground gatherings such as Amnesia Ibiza, DJ Pierre's Acid Jack at ADE, Ibiza Global Radio, OFF Sonar and Radio FG, alongside sharing line ups with the likes of Luciano, DJ Sneak, Richie Hawtin, Camelphat, Ida Engberg and wAFF; Manda Moor now turns her skills to producing with her inaugural worldwide release. For the next release on the unrelenting and genre pushing Hot Creations imprint, musical masterminds Skream and Tom Demac join forces for the first time to deliver the electro bomb EMF. Label head Jamie Jones offers yet another standout rework to add to his ever-expanding catalogue.

Breakbeat rhythms and a pounding bass kick off proceedings as the track unfurls with dramatic synths that culminate in an epic build up, dropping into the intricate electro melody. Jamie provides a mammoth rework as he steers the original into the realm of house. Holding onto the core elements, he adds his signature stamp with an unmistakable bassline.

As one of the UK’s best-loved selectors Skream’s early origins can be found in dubstep before he made a transition into disco, house and techno. In November 2013 he unveiled his new label, Of Unsound Mind and has been signed to a variety of labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Objectivity and We Are The Brave. He’s also produced a constant flow of remixes for labels like Warner, FFRR, Sony, Hot Creations, Watergate and VIVa. Parallel to these pivotal releases he also showcased his eclectic tastes at his Skreamizm parties across the UK and the rest of the world.

North Wales native Tom Demac first came to attention via his own Electronique Audio imprint in 2004 but it’s his affiliation with Hypercolour that really kick started his ascension to being a global force within the house and techno scene. His passion for performing live has seen him play from DC10 to Freerotation. He’s also released on a number of labels including a collaboration with Duncan Jones of Silverclub and an EP on Kompakt with Real Lies.

A regular of Australia’s thriving musical circuit, Kane Dignum aka Little Fritter makes his debut on Hot Creations with Dub Riddem. The EP continues an impressive 2020, that has seen the Gold Coast native’s standout productions land on the likes of Desert Hearts and etcetc already this year.

Those aforementioned features are present right from the offset, as Dub Riddem leads proceedings. A reverberating vocal keeps us hooked, before hard-hitting drums combine with a shimmering cow-bell lead to form a real dancefloor weapon. Puff Puff comes next, with prominent kicks giving way to a chuggy, up-and-down bassline, whilst lyrical samples echo in the background to create a choppy, groove-lead atmosphere. How Lucky Should We Feel? rounds things off in a similarly club-ready vein, merging resonant vocal cuts with punchy drum patterns and bringing shimmering hi-hats in tow.

Little Fritter has been a regular on the electronic music circuit for more than a decade. Having had his first release back in 2008, few artists have stayed as relevant and cutting-edge as the Gold Coast mainstay. Performances at Berlin’s Club De Visionaire and Barcelona’s Off-Sonar cemented his reputation as a respected prospect in the scene.
