Purified Records regulars Heard Right & OAI return to the imprint with their poignant 3-track ’Time Of Knowledge’ EP. The title track sets the tone with emotive piano chords and arpeggiating synths. Incorporating a deep bassline and a free-flowing instrumental blend, this creation achieves an impressive balance between hopeful and melancholic tones. ’The Truth Is Coming Now’ floats across a gentle soundscape, marrying soft piano keys with subtle percussion, laced with a soft vocal. Closing the EP with ‘Aspect’ the duo treats listeners to another dreamy slice of melodic house, flourishing with airy synths and delicate percussion across an uplifting bassline.

One of the highlight tracks to come from Dezza's latest artist album '44° North, 63° West' was 'My Breath', thanks to Dezza's typically bold production and airy, floating vocals from Dan Soleil. 

Deeparture's remix is up first and it's slick and tidy like we've come to expect from the Dutch musician who uses bouncy, bubbling synths to create an immersive production. One of my very close friends from Duke, Liam, came to San Francisco to visit his brother (my roommate) Ian. Liam is an extremely talented producer, and he approached me with a beautiful melody idea. After only two days of studio sessions, we wrote the entire track together based on his original idea. There is nothing I love more than collaborating with close friends—when your chemistry (as both friends and musicians) works, the music seems to write itself.

Liam is no stranger to the music industry; he worked as Dave Grutman’s personal assistant (as “Intern Luke”) in Miami for over a year. Expect to see a lot more material from him as a solo artist and a collaborator.

I debuted this record at Audio in San Francisco, hence the name of the track. I clearly remember the tremendous reaction on the dancefloor.
