Releasing my debut album has been one of my most meaningful life-experiences, and apart from the times playing my livesets, I seem to never have found a right moment to share it personally with the world. Today it has been exactly one year since the release-date, so this should be a good moment.

An album shaped for every occasion: driving from the city to the island, dancing in the living room, or raving at sunset. On Kindred Phenomena Mattheis picks up where he left off: 'Swell' serves as another episode of the prisms, the modular synth excursion of 'Bit Fragments' pushes his arpeggiator solos a step further, and album standout 'Ben_M' provides his most beautiful dance of melodies yet. Theus Mago is the alter ego of Mexican producer Mateo González, responsible for dance music projects such as Bufi (Kitsuné/Discotexas), Sonido Fantasma (Turbo Recordings) and currently co-head of label Duro. 

Theus Mago is a new side of Mateo obscure experimental rhythmsmeet the rigourness of the party dancefloor. 

In 2015, Theus Mago released “Ritmo Extraterrestre” through the french/german label Correspondant, earning quick support from the likes of Solomun, Dixon, Âme and Haai, kicking off aconstantly busy world touring schedule. 

Mateo’s alter ego has lately been on a steady streak of solid releases, including labels around the globe such as Lumiere Noire, Turbo Recordings, Optimo, Ombra Intl, Duro, Feines Tier, Playground Records, Correspondant and Pets Recordings, among many others.
