Ecstatic is proud to welcome new signing Mattheis to the label. Having already gained many fans for his work on the Clone affiliated Nous'Klaer label, Mattheis now graduates to his first full length, entitled 'Luminous Frames’. 

Expanding on the promise of his earlier work, his hallucinogenic arpeggio explorations call to mind the synth driven kosmiche sounds of late 70s and early 80s Germany, this Klaus Schulze, Cluster, Harald Grosskopf and Manuel Gottsching as well as contemporaries James Holden and Steve Moore. ‘Luminous Frames’  takes the listener on an ethereal drift through five masterfully constructed soundscapes of billowing synth drones and enveloping sequences.

DJ TAX es originario de Monterrey, Nuevo León, curador musical apasionado por el deep house, la electrónica lo-fi y los sonidos introspectivos e instrumentales. Su gusto se inclina por ritmos hipnóticos y atmósferas emocionales, creando paisajes sonoros ideales para espacios íntimos y sofisticados.

Su carrera inició en 2020 en Nayarit compartiendo su gusto musical en fiestas, bares y exposiciones de arte en la costa del Pacífico. En 2023 regresa a su ciudad natal colaborando de la misma manera en la Sultana del Norte.

Su estilo equilibra estructura y creatividad así como su dualidad musical y profesional convergen bajo un mismo principio:
