Na edição #21 de sua residência, Ney Faustini recebe Ale Reis, que retorna à cabine da rádio apresentando, desta vez, seu live autoral na segunda hora do programa. Ale Reis viu a cultura do disc jockey nascer no Brasil, tornando-se um dos principais precursores da música eletrônica e influenciando gerações de artistas até a atualidade. Entre a House Music e o Techno, construiu parcerias no estúdio como Nomumbah, Stekke e Dubshape, além de ser um dos idealizadores das labels Sudd, SuddWax, Sketches e Chez Panthère. Sua inquietação artística modela apresentações também no formato live, unindo elementos de Soul, Jazz e Breaks aos hardwares, com a mesma liberdade de construção de um DJ set. @ney-faustini @alenomumbah

Our special guest this week on he Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast is Jane Fitz.  

A DJ, promoter and music journalist from East London, Jane has been making a name for herself since the early 90s, from spinning a mixture of house, soul & funk in Camden Town parties, to setting up the Peg nights in London a few years later.  Peg took its place on the underground deep house scene in the capital city, attracting guests like Charles Webster, Chris Duckenfield and Jimpster, and it’s been non-stop for Jane over the years.

A highly respected DJ, Jane has become a firm favorite amongst London’s clubbing fraternity.  She has also travelled extensively to play her music, taking in parties in Berlin, Bulgaria, Detroit, New York and Chicago, and beyond, as well as playing at her latest club venture, Night Moves.

Releasing my debut album has been one of my most meaningful life-experiences, and apart from the times playing my livesets, I seem to never have found a right moment to share it personally with the world. Today it has been exactly one year since the release-date, so this should be a good moment.

"Kindred Phenomena marks Mattheis' debut album. After two cosmic EPs on Nous'klaer and a mini-album on tape for Ecstatic Recordings, he now returns to Nous'klaer for his first full story. An album shaped for every occasion: driving from the city to the island, dancing in the living room, or raving at sunset. On Kindred Phenomena Mattheis picks up where he left off: 'Swell' serves as another episode of the prisms, the modular synth excursion of 'Bit Fragments' pushes his arpeggiator solos a step further, and album standout 'Ben_M' provides his most beautiful dance of melodies yet. The album consists of eight tracks and comes as a double 12 inch for deejay convenience; and for the ultimate experience: go see Mattheis perform his album live on the road."
