Dave Shaun is a DJ and producer from the West Midlands, known for his high-energy Speed Garage, Bassline, and house sets that light up dancefloors in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and beyond. His journey began long before he ever stepped foot in a club. Growing up, his family were regulars in the local nightlife, returning from iconic venues like The Edge, Quest, Pandamonia in Wolverhampton. Tintin’s, the West End Bar, Studibakers, and the Steering Wheel in Birmingham with cassette tapes full of music that would become the soundtrack of his life.

From a young age, Dave was captivated by these sounds. He would spend hours experimenting with cassette tapes on an old hi-fi system, learning to blend tracks, match beats, and recreate the energy he heard from the clubs. By 15, he experienced his first real nightclub at Picasso’s in Wolverhampton, and by 17, he was dancing through the pulsating underground of illegal raves like Unit 11. It was here that his love for Speed Garage and Bassline was cemented—the deep basslines, shuffling rhythms, and infectious energy of the crowd shaping his future path.

Driven by passion and curiosity, Dave honed his craft in bedroom sessions, dissecting tracks, experimenting with mixing, and building a signature style that fused the melodic hooks of house with the gritty, hypnotic energy of Bassline and Speed Garage. His productions reflect a deep respect for the roots of UK underground music, while pushing the sound forward with contemporary energy and creativity.

Today, Dave Shaun is known for his dynamic DJ sets, which seamlessly take audiences on a journey through nostalgic classics and cutting-edge tracks. His performances are carefully curated experiences, designed to move people both physically and emotionally.
