This track is based on Chopin's "Marche Funèbre" written in the 1830s.  I think it sounds wicked with electric guitars, drums and a four string bass.  The idea behind the lyrics was to take the perspective of an undertaker, and let him express his concerns about the reasons that people are dying.  This one was fun.  Haven't had a reason to do a real lead guitar solo in a while.

Lyrics:

And his meds were too much to pay.
Then a coma took him down
And in two weeks he had passed away.

Is over chilling in the bay
Came down with Covid
And her lungs couldn’t take the fray.

Her insurance company
Decided not to pay.
They pulled the plug;
she couldn’t breathe though her children prayed.

Businessmen and doctors kill
When they collaborate.
If you can’t pay you may as well
Blow yourself away.

Extortion is their favorite game.

My daughter was just twenty-five.
The single mom of two little guys.
She couldn’t afford to replace her tires.
She died in a fire.

Half of the people who I see
Met their end because of greed.
On I toil to meet family’s needs.
Through endless suffering.

And no one’s doing anything!
