I was watching a movie a few months ago made in the 80s called "The Emerald Forest" and I loved it. It was about the story of an  engineer Bill Markham whose son was abducted by an aboriginal tribe on the edge of the rain forest, then the engineer spends the next 10 years searching for him. I loved this movie, all the magic, mystery, danger lurking in the deep forest but also within the human jungle, and the fact that in the jungle only the strong survive, kind of what’s happening right now but also through time and history.
