Used to working in bassments and often in total darkness save for the twinkling lights of the gear and the bleary eyes from the other kind of gear.
Finding the latter no longer tenable, moved to a new location: the sunny, airy penthouse that is Poke In The Eye Studios, leaving much behind as no longer necessary or rather conducive to ongoing creative output, re: that-ish was killing, literally.
So, having found new life and new digs, the Accumulation Stage began again:Software loaded onto a Vaio: Cubase (my first love), Ableton Live 8, Sound Forge 10,Reason, Rewire and all manner of rere stuff, tons of VSTs and plug-ins and drivers and editor/librarians, you know, all that you need for a DAW.
Interfaces: Yamaha KX61 for keyboard, parameter, MIDI merge/split, and transport control of Cubase AI,M-Audio Ozone for keys, data, and audio, Tascam US-122 for Audio and MIDI, BOSS BR864 for field recordings USBed-up withBRWC GUI making it essentially another hard drive.
Rack gear: Roland SC-880 sound/fx module, Boss SE50 Stereo fx, Boss SE70 Super fx, both with foot and MIDI control, Ibanez HD1500 Harmonics/Delay with foot control.
Large collection of vintage microphones, specializing in all things Shure Bros.  s55, sm57,sm58  and a bunch of mid-priced condenser mics.  
BTW, I have left a few bands right before and because they signed with majors, rather die DIY! message me if you want to know who.
