Best Backing Tracks is a small business that creates music for musicians to play along with to improve on their instruments.  We offer music for bass players, drummers, and lead guitarists.  Our backing tracks are professionally recorded, mixed and mastered by musicians who care deeply about creating the highest quality product.  The tracks for bass players include guitar solos, and the bass guitar has been removed, leaving room for your original bass line.  Similarly, the tracks for drummers include a guitar solo, and are stripped of the drums.  We believe our backing tracks are the most fun and best sounding on the market. Josiah C Hill-Meyer (aka M3istro) began teaching himself music production in 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. His music is inspired by artists such as Emancipator, STS9, Clozee, Beats Antique, Pretty Lights, and many others. 
M3istro is an artist who works in a variety of media. His sound has been described as a fusion of Melodic Dubstep, Liquid Drum & Bass, Trip hop, House, and many other different genres of electronic music. This fusion opens a unique poetic vein. Multilayered soundscapes arise in which the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned. His mixed media artworks appear as dreamlike sounds and images in which fiction and reality meet, well-known tropes merge, meanings shift, and past and present fuse. His music can be found on Pandora radio, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, and many other platforms. M3istro currently lives and works in Eugene, Oregon.

Since breaking onto the UK music scene, local Teessider, Esmae, has attracted  a varied fanbase who appreciate her unique vocal talent, emotive songwriting, and approachable personality. With over 1.4 million streams on Spotify and an ever-growing fanbase, Esmae has become a force to be reckoned with, attracting a dedicated following of 177,000 Instagram fans and up to 8,000 monthly listeners.

Not only a talented artist, but Esmae is also a savvy entrepreneur, founding her own record label, EZO Music, which has already been shortlisted for Best New Creative Business at the prestigious Tees Business Awards. Her passion for giving back shines through her music, most notably with her charity single, Revolution, which she wrote to raise awareness about homelessness in Teesside. This moving track has been adopted as the official campaign anthem for the national CEO Sleepout charity.

Homelessness is a cause close to Esmae's heart, as she strives to change the narrative around the issue and challenge the misconception that those without shelter are solely victims of substance abuse. Esmae is committed to educating the public about the complex and varied reasons that lead people to life on the streets. Each year, she participates in the CEO Sleepout, an impactful charity initiative that aims to fight homelessness across the UK. Esmae is dedicated to using her platform to create social change and encourages businesses to share their knowledge and experiences to help build a more inclusive society.

On the live performance front, Esmae recently wrapped up a successful UK and Ireland tour as the opening act for Boyzlife, the legendary supergroup formed by Keith Duffy of Boyzone and Brian McFadden of Westlife. This tour was an invaluable experience, allowing her to refine her live shows and connect with fans on a personal level. Esmae recalls the unforgettable moment when Boyzlife invited her to join them on stage in Gateshead to perform Baby Can I Hold You Tonight - a memory she will cherish forever, especially with her friends and family there to witness it.

Esmae’s journey is a testament to her incredible talent, unshakeable drive, and heartfelt commitment to making the world a better place, one note at a time.
