what an absolute honor to play my FIRST EVER festival set at my favorite place in the world! i first attended this festival in 2018 and instantly felt more at home than i ever have in my life. since then, i've attended nearly every year and dreamed of the day i could share my art at the very place that inspired it all. such a full circle moment; thank you to all who shared that space with me! all the love and thanks to shambhala for not only having me, but for creating such a beautiful place filled with connection, inspiration, realization, and drive.

Shamed is the debut release from James Hare, aka Women in Love. James is a multi-instrumentalist, composer/producer who wrote, performed and recorded everything you hear on this record.

With shades of New wave, Disco, and Indie, Women in Love draws influence from sources as broad as Talking Heads and New Order, Little Dragon, Phantogram and much of DFA Records. Shamed has a catchy hook, powerful production and is as suited to the radio as the dancefloor. Couple this with the equally superb B-side, Tonight and this 7-inch single will soon become a collector’s item.
