One of the slickest new selectors in the scene, quickly rising through the ranks, Matthew Neequaye has already provided some outstanding musical moments, not to mention those witnessed on-site at this year's festival. Resident for the legendary Leeds party outfit Butter Side Up, this exquisite mix is a shining example of his diverse, deep and totally hypnotic selections. Matthew first caught our attention a few years back with his self-released Neutral Zone mixes: unhurried, unpretentious and endlessly listenable. Matthew's been gradually gathering momentum in a similarly classy manner ever since then, and we're happy to host him as the latest instalment of our (very) occasional mix series.

Going to London

One of the first times I heard a proper techno set was over ten years ago with Ricardo Villalobos and Raresh playing in Europe. Since then, these two similar looking and acting maestros have been my all-time favorite dj's and producers. When I found out I would get to open for Raresh and Praslea, at my hometown hangout Output, I was excited like a little boy. The two delivered just as expected and inspired the crowd by playing 3 parties back to back, for over 20+ hours. My set at Output was originally supposed to go until 1230 but as fate would have it, I ended up playing until 2. Mostly vinyl, with a healthy mixture between import and local tracks. Enjoy!
