Second Project in Intro to Electronic Music at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria where I edited existing presets and created my own Subtractive, Additive, and Spectral synthesis presets in Alchemy. I also used Drum Machine Designer and the Pattern Sequencer, then arranged, mixed and bounced out audio all in Logic Pro X.

It's funny, having to pick a genre for my music. I love so many different kinds of music and I think there are elements of various types within tis track that I composed in two hours. We were instructed to create varying drum, bass, harmony/chords, and melody/lead tracks, and pick/choose/arrange what we liked best.

Hello. I have been a lifelong amateur musician. I started with organ lessons in the late ‘70s which I found fascinating with all their bells and whistles. Organs started getting more sophisticated and sounding more realistic, plus they had all kinds of colored switches and buttons which, to me, seemed like a precursor to synthesizers and arranger keyboards in the mainstream market.

In high school, I “played” piano and a dedicated bass keyboard. Because I just played chords on the organ, I had no experience with left hand accompaniment, so it was a bit of a challenge. Regardless, it was a really fun and rewarding experience.

Jumping forward to 2023, I am officially learning music theory, how to use a DAW (in my case Logic Pro X), and how to compose and arrange my own music.

As of Spring 2024, I have only been uploading short musical exercises from my Intro to Electronic Music and MIDI Technology classes.

I look forward to creating more lengthy songs once I have completed my coursework and sharing them here on SoundCloud. 🙏🏼
