01 Tears in Time

Most of the vocal samples are from field recordings Nevyn recorded on a visit to New Orleans.  He recorded an old couple living on the waterfront, making their moonshine, playing bucket drums and telling stories.  A few others are from another couple of folks Nevyn met in New Orleans, a reknowned local guitarist and another storyteller....

The Dulcimer was played by Nevyn, the drums were Played by Cult of Zir and altered by Nevyn.

02 Golden Hours Slip By

Bit of a hip hop glitch beat to it.  Very melodic.  Used a mutated clip of a female voice to create a melody.  Fairly catchy.

A little dark, a little dirty, a little silly.  Surprisingly tribal at points.  Lotsa freakout on the slide whistle fun... Allegorically would be playing that bop the mole/gophers game with the your inner demons as the moles/gophers.  To me anyway; have fun with your inner darkness!

Weird sounds and noises over a dreamstep style of beat with a fat moog synth line.  "It's definitely a discharge process"

A haunting, spacey super chill track that takes you on the journey to about 4 minutes in, when the journey pays off .

The feel of the track starts out with a bit of darkness and for the latter half fades to contemplation and resolution.
