This is the Single The First Time written by me and Jesse Hunter. This is a song about a person falling in love at first sight and the road to finding love. recorded at the Adlantas Studios in Rowland Heights Ca. All guitars were recoded using the AXE FX on a Mac Pro using Logic 9 and the Apogee Ensemble interface device. I hope you enjoy this song as much as we did recording it.

01 Tears in Time

Most of the vocal samples are from field recordings Nevyn recorded on a visit to New Orleans.  He recorded an old couple living on the waterfront, making their moonshine, playing bucket drums and telling stories.  A few others are from another couple of folks Nevyn met in New Orleans, a reknowned local guitarist and another storyteller....

The Dulcimer was played by Nevyn, the drums were Played by Cult of Zir and altered by Nevyn.

02 Golden Hours Slip By

Bit of a hip hop glitch beat to it.  Very melodic.  Used a mutated clip of a female voice to create a melody.  Fairly catchy.

The album "Time is All We have" (2008), by Sad Music for Happy Humans.

Many of the tracks from this album are what also became the soundtrack for the Human Canvas Project, a visual/movement experiment containing 17 women nude painted white, moving in conjunction with the music and visuals being projected onto them.  This was performed live in August of 2008 at the Fez Ballroom.  The show was recorded from multiple HD cameras and is available on DVD and Bluray.
