The Hair Thieves play an eclectic mix of ambient indie pop rock soundtracks.

Formed in 2000 as the solo project of Chris "Rollasoc" Rollason, the Hair Thieves took their name from a Eddie Izzard sketch, about why old ladies only ever buy dog food and hair nets.

2005 saw the Hair Thieves expanded with the addition of a 2nd guitarist in Ian "E" Packman, formally of Red Star Radio.

Three EPs followed, before a self imposed two year hiatus.

December 2010 saw the Hair Thieves return with EP4.

Since then more several EPs have followed.  We are currently working on the next couple.

We are based in Shrewsbury, in beautiful Shropshire.
