Independence Day

Matthew Azrieli is a singer/songwriter from Montreal. He was first inspired by Elliott Smith and Nick Drake, and taught himself the guitar by writing his own songs. Critics notice his voice, described as “a buttery, low register that cradles the songs as it paints his original words” by the CJN. Outremont’s Talk of the Townie wrote that his lyrics “defy imagination".
