BayAreaBeatbox was founded in 2011 by Sean Dexter on Pure Radio Holland and is currently on Underground Kollektive Radio as a 3 hour show that has featured guests from around the world like Paul Johnson, James Curd, DJ Vivona, David Duriez, Jay Tripwire and many others.  In 2020 BayAreaBeatbox Live was launched on Mixcloud doing live broadcasts and in 2021 BayAreaBeatbox live started a monthly  residency on the legendary underground station  Fantasy FM in the UK on the Last Sunday of the month from 6-9 pm PDT.  Beatbox Records was Launched in  2016 featuring productions from Sean Dexter.  Sean has been a dj, producer, remixer, party promoter and radio host for over 30 years.  BayAreaBeatbox takes it's name from the legendary Roland 808 drum machine lovingly referred to as a beatbox

Biog:
DJs and producers Mark (crumbs) Crummay
 and Joey (JoBu) Burkitt AKA Freaky Behaviour and owners of Record label "Odour Recordings", hail from the north of England, both now based in Leeds. Both DJ's being promoters in their own right had been Working DJ ing and promoting nights in the UK, Spain,and Copenhagen. A thirst for underground music from Hip Hop, funk, to Breaks and House.. and a need to showcase it, has lead us to being able to work with some of the worlds finest DJs and producers... and always love to learn and be wow'd by others!

The Clubbing and music scene has brought them together with Their closest friends and the professionals they admire, proud to be part of this underground culture and they are glad they can contribute. 

Musical influences come from far and wide, everything from the deepest shades of House to Techno and everything in between. Freaky Behaviours' sound stems from Chicago House roots and is something that is prevalent throughout most of their productions and DJ sets. In high demand to play venues globally, Freaky Behaviour are ones to keep an eye on.

HI! I've been an underground house music dj since 1994. I've played all over the US. I've lived in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Kansas City, MO, and now San Diego, CA. While in Kansas City, I was lucky enough to work with DeepFix Records. Not only were we a household name for underground house from 2001-2007, we threw a crazy sick party called Frisky with all of our favorite Djs ; Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, Mark Farina, Diz, Wally Callerio, DJ Sneak, Hector Moralez, DJ Heather, Miles Maeda... you get the picture. Since then, I've been lucky enough to become friends with some of them and play along side them many more times. They also play my tunes! I've been producing since 2001.  I've been on a bunch of cool labels like Kolour Recordings, Sampled Detroit, and Greenhouse Recordings. in 2008 Uriah West(one of the coolest guys in the world, and one of my best friends) and I started Audio Indika. It's a house music label focusing on quality, not quantity. We've put out tracks by Forrest Avery(The guy that invented the NWMC), John Hawley, Wally Callerio, Frankie J, and a whole bunch of dope underground artists. Right now you can catch me every Friday at The Air Conditioned Lounge in San Diego, and on other nights, different cities across the country.
