House obsessed Rich Emby is no stranger to the underground house music scene. Having been brought up on a rich diet of DJ's and producers from around the globe. Whilst doing the circuit in various clubs during the 00s, he developed a keen ear for good quality ‘dancefloor friendly’ underground house music – the sound that he has become synonymous with. Whilst he tends to lean towards the deep Jackin house side of the spectrum, his sets never fail to surprise, always changing things up, experimenting with the mix, and throwing the odd curve ball to keep the dancefloor and listener engaged. His ability to use the mix as a tool to keep the energy flowing is a skill which he thrives on.

Now residing in France, Rich founded the Deeply Jacked series, which has become a real tribute to the producers, and DJ’s that he admires. The temptation to stray away from his true underground roots in order seek fame and glory will never be an option for Rich, with the series gaining success through the music he loves to play. 

As a devoted family man, DJing in clubs has had to take a back seat in recent times but you can occasionally catch him playing in various places across the UK and France. When not DJing Rich is in his other happy place digging for new tunes, sometimes spending hours on end, searching for the sounds that compliment his style.

Hailing from The Tower District in Fresno CA, Jason Merle has been playing records since 1997. Aftermoving to the Bay Area to swim with the big fish, he began to produce and play with some of the incredible DJ’s that saturate the scene in San Francisco and eventually moved back to Fresno where he continued his rise until 2008.
Fast forward a decade after concentrating on fatherhood and he is back at it. He may be a little less intoxicated this time around, but he is just as dizzy in love with house as he was back in the day.

For this week’s milestone show myself and Jody have decided to reconstruct our set from Anjunadeep Open Air: Miami back in March. It’s always one of our favourite parties of the year and a few of you have been asking for the set, so we thought it might be a nice way to celebrate our 200th show. HI! I've been an underground house music dj since 1994. I've played all over the US. I've lived in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Kansas City, MO, and now San Diego, CA. While in Kansas City, I was lucky enough to work with DeepFix Records. Not only were we a household name for underground house from 2001-2007, we threw a crazy sick party called Frisky with all of our favorite Djs ; Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, Mark Farina, Diz, Wally Callerio, DJ Sneak, Hector Moralez, DJ Heather, Miles Maeda... you get the picture. Since then, I've been lucky enough to become friends with some of them and play along side them many more times. They also play my tunes! I've been producing since 2001.  I've been on a bunch of cool labels like Kolour Recordings, Sampled Detroit, and Greenhouse Recordings. in 2008 Uriah West(one of the coolest guys in the world, and one of my best friends) and I started Audio Indika. It's a house music label focusing on quality, not quantity. We've put out tracks by Forrest Avery(The guy that invented the NWMC), John Hawley, Wally Callerio, Frankie J, and a whole bunch of dope underground artists. Right now you can catch me every Friday at The Air Conditioned Lounge in San Diego, and on other nights, different cities across the country.
