A Chilled Deep Jazz House / Hotel Lounge Bar style DJ mix put together for a DJ residency application where the client requested more Jazz in the mix. This was the type of thing I used to perform at my previous DJ residency at the Lebua Hotel.

This was the first "mass produced" promotional material that I made as a DJ back in 1998. I hand made 250 of them and sent them out all over the mid-west. I named it "Warning" because of the track I played with that title on side B.

Lucky #7 in my mix series features a Chicago OG who has moved to the year round nice weather in LA, but certainly has not forgotten his roots. J-Dub has been throwing down since the 90s, popping out at all the pioneering House venues (RedNo, Red Dog, & Shelter) as well as held a resident party with DJ Heather at the institutional mainstay, Smartbar. J-Dub's production resume takes no prisoners and showcases a prolific career as a vocalist.  Of late, J-Dub can be seen as a regularly featured guest on DJ Sneak's livestreams, or working the "desk" as Label Manager for Mark Farina's Great Lakes Audio Recordings. HI! I've been an underground house music dj since 1994. I've played all over the US. I've lived in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Kansas City, MO, and now San Diego, CA. While in Kansas City, I was lucky enough to work with DeepFix Records. Not only were we a household name for underground house from 2001-2007, we threw a crazy sick party called Frisky with all of our favorite Djs ; Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, Mark Farina, Diz, Wally Callerio, DJ Sneak, Hector Moralez, DJ Heather, Miles Maeda... you get the picture. Since then, I've been lucky enough to become friends with some of them and play along side them many more times. They also play my tunes! I've been producing since 2001.  I've been on a bunch of cool labels like Kolour Recordings, Sampled Detroit, and Greenhouse Recordings. in 2008 Uriah West(one of the coolest guys in the world, and one of my best friends) and I started Audio Indika. It's a house music label focusing on quality, not quantity. We've put out tracks by Forrest Avery(The guy that invented the NWMC), John Hawley, Wally Callerio, Frankie J, and a whole bunch of dope underground artists. Right now you can catch me every Friday at The Air Conditioned Lounge in San Diego, and on other nights, different cities across the country.
