Born to a Navy family in Binghamton, NY, Matthew 'Black&White' Cornwell is no stranger to exploring uncharted waters. With the goal of creating a new, innovative sound fusing R&B and POP, Black&White began his professional career at 19 when he moved to Las Vegas, NV. There he would spend time as a lead vocalist in a cover band playing lounges and casinos while producing his first project "The Summer Collection Volume 1”. Two years and one heartbreak later he would complete his first full length album entitled “II IX I I" (2911), a testament to both his diversity as an artist, and his ability to infuse raw emotion into his works.  His relatable lyrics, partnered with a strong singing ability and dashes of unfiltered rap allow him to diversify his sound and create music in a genre of it’s own. Black&White is currently residing in Atlanta, working on his next project and continuing to build his network of supporters and collaborators.
