Greta Meier, a standout DJ and producer from Córdoba, Argentina, has emerged as a fresh voice in Progressive, winning the MEC awards in the Dj Revelation category. Characterized by her deep, delicate harmonies, Greta's sets seamlessly transport audiences through a musical journey. Musique de Lune opens the fall season by welcoming VITE and Hole Box to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Mexico, both VITE and Hole Box have emerged from their country's avant-garde electronic landscape with a distinctive organic sound. Noted for their attention to detail, arcane musicality and inventive drum arrangements, the duo's craft shines through vividly, making each one of their creations an absorbing experience. The duo's combined discography is highlighted by releases via trendsetting imprints such as Akbal Music, TOR, Tale & Tone and more, while the genre's premiere DJs have been steadfast with support along the way. Having previously worked on a project for Akbal Music, VITE and Hole Box now combine their extension forces once again, making their much anticipated Musique de Lune debut with 'Midway', alongside a remix from Ilias Katelanos & Plecta. 

Continuing to evolve and impress, VITE & Hole Box deliver one of their most thematic creations to date in 'Midway'. Warm punchy beats and a rolling groove set the foundation for a smooth flow into heartfelt vocal samples, dusty percussive arrangements and a gorgeous array of orbiting effects. Mood continues to rise across the main break as fluttery motifs and harmonic refrains fade off into aquatic designs, as the beats re-emerge and the vocal flows through further evolution for a finale that should fare very well on all the daytime dancefloors out there. 'Emotional Things' proves to be a worthy compliment with it's exotic drum flurries and key changing buoyancy. Almost childlike sounding with it's playful creative lean, this is one of those feel good, unite the dancefloor type tunes for those sunrise moments.

Completing the release are Ilias Katelanos & Plecta who provide the lone interpretation of 'Midway'. Greek artist Ilias Katelanos is no stranger to the label having released 'Sud' as part of the 'Rumba Del Sud' EP earlier this year, while Plecta makes his debut following projects for Akbal Music, Melody of the Soul, Songuara, Tale & Tone and The Soundgarden. As occasional studio partners of late, the duo continue to build on their creative synergy with a gorgeous take on 'Midway'. Ilias and Plecta take straight aim at the dance floor with a beefed up, swing heavy groove which works amazingly well, and while the main themes of the original are present, they work in a more groove-centric context, keeping the full seven-minute journey both danceable and emotive to round out the release on a strong note. Highly recommended.

PREMIERE: Hole Box - Emotional Things (Ilias Katelanos & Plecta Remix) [Musique de Lune]

The 100th release on any record label is always a special milestone.  A celebration of accomplishment, of history, of a sense of purpose which has resonated a chord amongst those who care to follow in the path of the labels sound. We are so proud to have label owner Glenn Morrison present one of his best works to date, with an unbelievable remix package to boot.  Mine & Yours is a melancholic journey, with atmospheric pads and soaring vocal reverb swells, to emotional piano chords which characterize Glenn's sound so well, to the floaty nonchalant vocals of Elise who carry the record as a whole.  On the remix duties come a genius mix from the likes of Matt Lange, whose dubstep version is so above and beyond what is currently out on the market right now.  Matt is setting the standard for insane dubstep and glitch hop cutting and production.  Quivver needs no inroduction and his remix is fantastic.  Very brooding and within a dark progressive house lens. The Redanka remix has a bit more upbeat feel with crunchy drums and a fantastic string laden post break section. Jeremy Olander's mix is his best work to date, with a very hypnotic feel that characterizes his shows for when he performs with Eric Prydz.  Jeremy is a rising star and is a great musician.  Omid 16B is such a legend in the industry with close ties to Bedrock and his own SexonWav label, and he brings a very Detroit inspired tech house approach, whilst still utilizing Elise's amazing vocals.  And lastly, Glenn Morrison's Club Mix is a stadium filled big room house bomb, with massive chordal stabs in the main breakdown, to a side-chained baseline which is so characteristic of his trademark sound, to the epically smooth vocals of Elise juxtaposing the melodic arps in the verse section.  Overall this is a truly special release that we all hope you will appreciate and hats off to 100 amazing release on Morrison Recordings.  We couldn't have done it without you and we aim to bring you forward thinking and intelligent dance music of all genres.

Domingo + Loveclub are two separate producers, however they are brothers Chris & Perry Domingo. In the 90's they wrote many records and toured together for years. Perry left the scene years ago to raise a family. Chris continued and has had great success with his last duo Mariner + Domingo. After over a decade, Perry dusted off his gear and rejoined his brother to start writing again. They have quickly climbed the music industry ladder by having several top 10 releases on labels - Songuara, Stellar Fountain, 3rd Avenue, Amulanga, Tale & Tone and a forthcoming EP soon to hit the market on Melody Of The Soul. Together, they continue to DJ and produce quality music and their 30 years of experience in the industry is paying off in the end.
