Reverie of Angels

Music that tells the tale of a river of people stretching out behind me, to another land and another life; a land scarred by cruelty and an existence no better than slavery back in the time of The Great Hunger.

The lady pictured on the cover artwork is my Great Grandmother Bridget Wynne, born just after the worst of the Great Hunger had passed, and who, like millions of others, left her home for a better life. I’m not all that sure she found it. Although her family somehow survived the worst, Bridget remained small -  somewhere around 4 feet 6 inches (1.37m) - and bird-like for her entire life.

She is the only one of my older Irish relatives of whom I have a photograph .

This piece was recorded at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers Studios as part of a demo project with the Los Angeles Film Conductor's Intensive. This is conducted without click.
