On My Mind

I am London based DJ / Producer who loves playing all flavours of House, Deep Tech / Minimal and the odd bit of Garage!

My journey began back in August 22 when I was watching FatBoySlim play a set at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza. I was immensely impressed by his mixing and the energy that he brought to the crowd.

So upon my return from Ibiza I decided to give mixing a go... Within 2 months I had bought my first set of Pioneer decks and began mixing every day.

In August 23 I returned to Ibiza and  was able to play a couple of House / Tech House sets at Amigos Bar in Cala Llonga. It was an absolutely blast! 

In September 23, I auditioned for, and susbsequently joined, a new UK Radio station called Raindrop Radio (www.raindropradio.com) where I have a weekly slot on Sundays at 8pm entitled 'The House Edit.'   playing the latest House / Tech House / Minimal tracks.

I am currently dabling with music production - Ableton and Serum are my latest toys!

Coming up as a DJ in NYC’s nightlife circuit, matthew james developed a taste and skill for writing house tracks specifically tailored for the club. Rolling bass lines and driving percussion accompany catchy vocals and classic sampling techniques to create a unique sound of hard hitting house tracks infused with 90s New York City hip hop. 

He's had releases on  Vanilla Ace's WyldCard Records, Force of Habit, High Definition, Purple Tea, and more as well as support from headliners and industry influencers such as Martin Ikin, R3Wire,  James Hype, & Austin Kramer.
