04 The Question

A sensitive arrangement of 'Dear Jane' with piano and cello.  Song written and recorded by Matthew Jay in 2003 and remixed and arranged by Edward Jay in 2006.

01 DEAR JANE - piano/cello remix by Eddy Jay

British Singer songwriter (1978-2003).  Signed with EMI Records and EMI Publishing in 1999.  Released critical acclaimed Album Draw in 2001. 2 Albums released by Jays Music - Too Soon in 2004 and Further Than Tomorrow in 2008 received 4 stars from Q Magazine.  Also singles - What Would Love Do Now and Our Time plus Our Time Video.    Two further albums still unreleased.  Prodigious talent - referred to the 'thinking wo/man's songwriter'.  Killed in London in an unexplained incident, 25th September 2003 - open verdict.  Loss of an unequaled talent. Royalty statements indicate that Matthew Jay's music continues to be listened to all over the world.  Further Than Tomorrow is now in the EMI Publishing library for use in films, television, radio and advertising.
