I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable OM. I am also the Rg, the Sama and the Yajur Vedas. (Bhagavad Gita 9.17)

This is a very special track that I recorded back in 2006 when I lived in Topanga, CA with my partner at the time, Bibi.

Bibi is singing a beautiful old Sikh chant over top of some synth pads and live recordings that I captured of the Maldive Ocean, Topanga crickets and owls.

This is a short sample. The full track is 40 mins long. 

It's intention and design is to support a deep state of relaxation and peace. Perfect for meditation, yoga and massage.

Antonio Testa specializes in organic sound and the creation of musical atmospheres through the use of a vast array of mostly native and shamanic instruments, together with his own creations made from organic and recycled materials. Tribal-Ethno-Ambient is a genre merging musical forms and cultural sensibilities of the world's indigenous cultures sent through the filters of today's sound artists. By using state-of-the-art recording tools and processing technology, common ground is found between animal skin drum, the shaman's rattle and the digital domain. While the outlines of this style can be easily suggested and co-opted through more superficial cut and paste computer methods, RADIOFOREST shows that Testa clearly understands how powerful the authentic ethno-ambient form can be when created with a deep sense of the primal mind. Shifting trance percussion, ocarina, flutes, and synth textures co-mingle with field recordings from Mexico, Africa and Italy. In Antonio's words, the "radio" aspect is the music or the tribal drum transmitting outwards, a calling of the spirits to help the state of our planet. If you appreciate the solo music of Jorge Reyes, Testa and Alio Die, Suspended Memories, TUU, or Steve's ORIGINS and ARTIFACTS, then this is a must-have release.

Each musical work by Antonio Testa could be described as a journey that takes us around the world.
The attitude is similar to that of other eminent musicologists like David Parsons and Stephan Micus, but Testa’s approach to music is a very personal one.
"Ecosphere" confirms the eclecticismat the base of his music career
It was created in order “to find a balance between the biosphere and the technosphere' .
Translated into sound, it means a blessed meeting between the new deep rhythmic of the digital age and the old traditional harmonies of the world’s music.
In order to interpret them, Testa has trusted once again the magnetic voice of Susana Beatriz Alvear , author of lyrics and vocals and also responsible for five of the first six tracks, languid trip-hop dances in which the trumpet of Roberto Santoro ("Recuerdos ") shines alongside the acoustic guitars of Francesco Saverio Porciello (" Dance To Bobo ") and the drones played by Alio Die mixed with his bases and his bouzoki strings (played by Tito Rinesi).
In "Maya Prayer" we find fields recordings recorded by Testa in the forests of Mexico. Before the final track there is also space for a long-tropical ambient improvisation recorded in 1995 in Milan with U. de Souza, Raphael Scinia, Susana Beatriz Alvear and Rosana Santos.

This CD published by Tribe is titled "Sacred - Bright Way" (Sacred paths on Mother Earth) " and it is the guide to a good travel experience in the Land of the Maya. Among the temples and sacred sites of ancient Mexico, a sort of spiritual diary written by several hands collects the memories of a pilgrimage to the "Sacred" route, the enlightened way which leads to the inner awakening and propitiates astral calm, according to the ancient shamanic teachings of the Aztec. But more than a travelling reportage, the writings that accompany the CD of Antonio Testa are a collection of thoughts on both the small and great mysteries of human existence, a guide that promotes that excursions of the soul that the authors use in that adventure;it tells us about the emotions felt during the ceremonies for the Spring Equinox or the perception of an eminent presence in the jungle of Chiapas and in the Natural Park of the Birds, or in the joyous ritual of the singing well described by the story. Furthermore , there is the music composed by Antonio Testa for this occasion, the sounding page (preceded by an essay by the artist) that brings us a little closer into the midst of these ancient cultures and thir timeless spiritual moments, right into the land of their ancestors:the dances and the songs around Life’s fire which burns into the wind of the cosmic night and that threw its shadows on our time.
