Lark McIvor is a composer and musicologist with a Masters in Music Composition from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Musicology from the University of Edinburgh. McIvor is passionate about cultural representation in contemporary classical music and new methods of incorporating informed ethnomusicological compositional practices.
 
Her work incorporates ethnomusicological research, graphic notation and experimental composition and has been performed and exhibited through the Royal Scottish Academy’s Annual Exhibition (2021) her research has been widely presented at a number of conferences, including the collaborative postgraduate research seminar between the UK’s Royal Musical Association (RMA) and the Netherlands’ Koninklijke Vereniging voor Nederlandse Muziekgeschiedenis (KVNM). McIvor has a publication in Oxford Early Music and has a forthcoming article following her presentation at Composition & Research Symposium at GMPU in Klagenfurt. She was awarded multiple grants for her research; including the Student Experience Grant (Innovation Initiative Grants 2020) and the Festival of Creative Learning Award (FCL 2019).

Inserted Memories is an electronic music producer based in the US Pacific Northwest. The music genre varies from nostalgic 70s and 80s inspired synthesizer themes, to the more modern ambient music with focus on arpeggiations, electronic soundscapes, and unique sound designs.
