Strange desire

Another track from my upcoming album, "Sojourner".  HALFWAY HOME is about a man who returns home from a long absence and doesn’t recognize his own family in his own house.  He feels the disconnect, and his wife continually tries to reache out to him, but they both get frustrated by the circumstances, and don't realize that it's a game of inches for recovery.  Finally, at the edge of ruin and despair, his wife reaches out in one last desperate attempt to get him back, and professes that love isn’t perfect, but if they just try, they can make it in little steps.
