Hey gang! This is not an entry in my remix contest, obviously...this is my own remix of my own song. Yessir. MP is me, and "SlyDreamer" is just the mix name :) And I LOVED making this.

This remix has a much more happy, lovey, groovy feel to it than the melancholy, serious-although-rockin Original, and so it's fun to listen to, and I managed to change the melody of the chorus, which is probably my favorite twist that I put on it. This track was largely influenced by the sound of a gent from Australia whose producer name is Just A Gent. His sound has really grown on me, so I had to try my hand at it.

Well many of you may not know who BenJah is, but he's a really awesome Reggae-Rap artist and his voice is really cool. So I actually started this remix a year ago or so, believe it or not, but I didn't get very far with it before I just got distracted with other projects. Well, I recently picked it back up and completely finished it, and I'm VERY happy with the result. It's a heavy reggae, dubstep, trap fusion, with a very swaggy, smooth sound and groove to it. So I hope you enjoy it, as I do. And hey, while I'm here I'll say that there's some pretty cool music in the making right now!!

Having such respect for the vox, I spent a lot of time and tried many different ideas with it, because I wanted to make sure I treated it the way it should be treated. After many days in the studio, I think I found something that can add meaning and emotion to the lyrics, something not just melody and rhythm. I want to thank Matthew Parker for collaborating with me on this one, definitely a very fun individual to work on my first single with (not to mention a talented musician and singer!).
