In its first release of 2024, the Words Not Enough label presents the talented Argentine DJ and producer, Maxi Degrassi. Titled "I’m Happy For You," this release celebrates, through two original tracks, the unique and transcendent atmosphere that Maxi is capable of creating in his compositions.

In the tracks "I’m Happy For You" and "True Bonus," the artist interweaves the compositions as chapters of a book, skillfully combining ethereal vocals that echoes like soft sighs with dreamlike textures and ambiences. The percussions resemble steps in a cosmic dance, where each beat transforms into energy, and each melody mirrors an invigorating experience.

"I’m Happy For You" invites listeners to a musical odyssey, allowing them to immerse themselves in the intimacy of Maxi's identity. Submerged in its own poetic spectacle, each note acts as a color palette, and each measure represents a path to a soundscape meticulously sculpted by the artist.

Dear Friends and Ocean Lovers,

This Earth Day, we are excited to share Origines Vol. 01: Ambient Album for the Ocean, a fundraiser with 100% of net proceeds from Bandcamp sales supporting BC Whales and their marine conservation efforts.

Curated by Kora and Saisons Musique, Origines brings together diverse artists from around the world united by a common purpose: to honour and protect our oceans. The title reflects the profound truth that all life on Earth originated from the ocean—we are all connected to the water womb that birthed life itself.

The album features stunning visual art by Ioana Todosia: "Estero" Cyanotype textile print created on Pacific Coast of Oaxaca, MX. Ioana creates sun prints by dipping cloth into the ocean, allowing nature itself to create the art—capturing the traces where tide meets shore.

From Montreal to Oaxaca, Australia to Argentina, this international soundscape celebrates our global community while serving as both an ambient journey and a call to action. Each track is designed to foster reconnection—within ourselves, with each other, and with our planet, offering moments of reflection, resilience, and renewal.

The artists behind Origines believe in the power of art to inspire change. Together, we keep hope we can make a difference in protecting the oceans and the majestic beings that call them home.

We’re proud to share a special release from Argentinian artists Bodaishin & Izhy — a collaboration rooted in deep connection, crafted across continents, and shaped over years of friendship and shared vision.

It all began when Izhy sent a photo of the forest, resonating with the spirit of Saisons — a quiet nod to nature, cycles, and inner stillness. That spark led to a collaboration with Bodaishin, and years later, a reconnection in Spain where Kora, Izhy, and Bodaishin shared music, moments, and something that felt like family.

The result is Daimoku — a sonic meditation that echoes the Buddhist practice of chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, known for its power to transform from within. This idea unfolds through three distinct interpretations:

The Original: contemplative, spacious, alive with subtle textures and organic layers — crafted between South America and Europe, slowly evolving with time.

The Remix: @kora-musique brings his signature touch — elevating the melodies toward a hypnotic, driving energy fit for peak-time moments while honoring the track’s emotional essence.

The Ambient Version: a stripped-back, meditative space to land in — still, warm, and resonant.
