Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Nowadays, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient in the comfort of his humble abode, but still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the enchanting world of house and techno. When he is not fumbling about on the decks, he likes to travel. He tries to play with the possibility of combining electronica and leftfield soundscapes, in a mixcast friendly way, catering to your everyday soundtrack needs.

je ne suis pas musicien mais j'adore tout ce qui touche à la MAO et les portes que celle-ci à ouvert à des gens comme moi.
Mes premiers contacts avec la musique électronique date des années 90'.
Laurent garnier et la longueur de ses morceaux restent une référence pour moi.

Aprés plusieurs années à chercher les softs qui me corespondent le plus et aprés en avoir essayé quelques-uns tels que Reason , fruityloops, ....je me suis finalement resolu à ne travailler qu'avec Ableton Live 8,9 et maintenant 10.
je suis fan d'Arturia et j'ai recement upgradé la version 5 de la "V Collection" vers la version 7. Parmis les Synthés qui composent ce pack, le ARP2600 V, le CS-80 V, le Matrice-12 V ou enfin le Jup-8 V pour ne citer qu'eux requierent toute mon attention.
Pour des sonorités plus actuelles , j'utilise égalent Vengeance , Reaktor 6, Sylenth ,.....et prédator
je n'ai souvent pas la rigueur necessaire à la réalisation de morceaux aboutis mais le plus important pour moi est de passer du temps devant mon écran à essayer tout et n'importe quoi.

My first contact with electronic music dates back to the 90s.

Laurent Garnier and the length of his tracks remain a reference for me.

After several years looking for the softs that I like the most and after having tried some of them such as Reason, fruityloops, ... I finally decided to work only with Ableton Live 8,9 and now 10.

I'm a fan of Arturia and I recently upgraded version 5 of the "V Collection" to version 7. Among the Synths that make up this pack, the ARP2600 V, the CS-80 V, the Matrice-12 V or the Jup-8 V to name a few require my full attention.

For more current sounds, I use Vengeance, Reaktor 6, Sylenth,......

I often don't have the rigour necessary to produce finished pieces but the most important thing for me is to spend time in front of my screen trying everything and anything.

With more than 20 years of performance experience around the world.
Born and raised in Ukraine, he began his music career in the early 2000s. Organising own events and performing as DJ in various clubs.  During a weekend he could play in more than five venues in a row. Opening an evening with soulful & deep house moods in restaurants and pre-parties, he normally continued in night clubs, playing intensive house & techno rhythms, and closer to morning he could be detected in some of numerous afterparties, transmitting massive progressive vibes.  

In the middle of 2010s he moved to Vietnam, where he proceeded arranging exclusive events and touring around South-East Asia.

Technical and spiritual elements of his music vision have been developing over the years.
Giving preferences to various kinds of electronic music, he eventually formed his unique style, where mesmerising depth goes together with strong dynamics, immersing listeners into the atmosphere of surrealism and phantasmagoria, allowing to perceive full interconnection between your body and soul..
