Ralph Lawson & Tristan Da Cunha present a selection of highly sought after rare classics from the legendary back to basics club. The album is packed full of bona fide basics dance floor bombs from the clubs 25 year history, lovingly re-mastered from original DAT tapes and recordings. Compiled as a labour of love over two years the renowned resident DJs left no stone unturned in tracking down the music from source with many titles long lost in record company vaults and archives. The compilation includes Chicago acid house, New York groovers and early morning gems that helped define the back to basics sound. The record is completed with artwork from the godfather of punk design – Jamie Reid.
