Sentimental Animals is the brand new collaboration between two of disco's most loved artists JKriv and Dicky Trisco. Following on from the release of their debut sold out first EP they are back in quick smart fashion with a brilliant release the Love Vibrations EP on Razor-N-Tape which features mixes from Yuksek and Art of Tones.

Welcome to the 16th edition of That Disco Groove Radio Show.

The sun WAS shining here in the UK whilst recording the show, but as usual with our weather a good thing never lasts. Nevertheless, we've got some sun-drenched beats to kick off proceedings from the likes of Joseph Turruel, I Gemin & Cutting Pattern.

The Bandcamp Beat for this week is brought to us by The Pied Piper with his deep disco spin on The Groovemaster's Nice 'N' Nasty and what a groove it is! A 70's-inspired funk-bomb guaranteed to get you moving.

Our recommended new releases kicks off with a beautiful track from Mr. Thruout, 1 of 4 tracks from the Talk Together EP from the Sound Exhibitions. The show ramps up in tempo thanks to a whole host of production powerhouses such as Moodena, Birdee and Babert and courtesy of labels like Salted Music, Re-Loved, Peppermint Jam and Unquantize to name a few. 

There is also a debut release for Jaycee Styles with his R&B-tinged 'NYC' on Ghetto Disco Records as well a debut release from Dynamite Disco Club, the newly launched label based in Bangalore, India. Also, do not miss a very special remix from the Dam Swindle guys out now on the legendary Salsoul Records.

In a break from our usual format, there will be no Vinyl Exclusive or Classic Closer for this week BUT that gave us more room for an extended Label Focus and stepping up this week is none other than Brighton(UK)-based disco heavyweight Hot Digits Music. Featuring tracks from Dr. Packer, James ROD, Stephen Richards, Chewy Rubs and the label boss himself, Fingerman, it really was tough picking out just 5 tracks to showcase. We ended up with an eclectic selection that should bring some pleasure to the ears!

Last but by certainly no means least, our special guest this week comes in the form of Waterford(Ireland)-based Producer, DJ and Radio Show Host, Stephen Richards. With releases on the likes of Tropical Disco Records, Spa In Disco and Discoweey, his production stock is ever-rising. 

We're delighted to welcome Stephen to the show having admired his effort with his weekly Disco Daze radio show for some time now. His 1-hour exclusive guestmix will certainly not dissapoint either, with twists and turns and an infectious high-energy delivery.

It's a real pleasure to get long time favourite producer @matthias-zimmermann into SB HQ for the guestmix this week. The @sound-pellegrino regular has stacks on stacks of quality & forward thinking music under his belt with each track actually named after a person. Known for his raw & upfront sound within his productions, his self titled LP a couple years ago now was a firm favourite of ours and we've been told he's currently working on a follow up LP!. More recently though he's been dipping his toes into his passion for disco & soul, with an awesome array of edits and mixes over on his profile, fueled by his heavy obsession for vinyl digging.
