I wrote this song in a small house in a community in northern Germany. Through the window I had a view over a lake and at night-time I had to heat the house with a wood-oven. So while I was composing the song I could hear the sparkling of fire and the willows in the wind...

they may not fit everyone, 
and it’s not always fun
that it might be a preferred pronoun for an individual

Now there are choices that an individual may prefer
I hear Ze, Hir, Hirs, 
However the plural they/them/theirs my be preferred in it’s singular form 
as it is more encompassing of gender
Yes, its basic human empathy
