Matthias Morgenstern nennt sich nach dem mythologischen Gestirn, welches zum Ausklang der Nacht als Vorbote der Sonne den Menschen das Licht des neuen Tages ankündigt. Als Kind der Abendämmerung und der Morgenröte verbindet der Morgenstern die Nacht mit dem Tag, die Dunkelheit mit dem Licht.
