Bringing another gem to the forefront, DGTL Records releases new music with DJ/Producer Randy Collé. Having played for DGTL Amsterdam’s 2019 edition, the young artist’s years of production experience, combined with a multitude of music styles, is mirrored in his timeless yet fresh sound. Following the success of his single ‘Losing Time’ featured on his jointly-run label ‘Point in Time’, the 4-track EP reflects the emotion and depth that Collé has long brought to his sets. Inspired by artists like Cubicolor, Canada and Floating points — the new EP will be released on 18th June 2021.

Setting the scene for the EP, the opening track ‘ATFER’ eases the listener into those first few moments on the dancefloor; with enticing grooves accompanying melodic electric-guitars and dramatic synth build-ups. The track is a direct imprint of his distinctive genre of music, which despite steering clear of clichés, manages to resonate with all audiences. It also embodies the inspiration for this release, stating “I always want to create something I feel touched by.”

It’s the perfect warm-up to what follows. True to its name, ‘Horizon’ is a playful storytelling of groovy electronica coupled with entrancing undertones. The surging nature of the track keeps the listener closely in its grasp, and is a masterclass on sleek sundowner sounds. It’s the perfect deep-dive into Collé’s production process; which he describes as a short film for which he makes the soundtrack.

Showcasing a more emotive style than its predecessors, ‘Now Here or Nowhere’ is the third track on the EP; with a somber take on signature house-percussion and emotive synth chords. Merging a sense of contemplation and depth, the track is an original take on dancefloor production that crosses over to the early hours of the morning.

As the closer of the EP, the fourth and final track is a remix on ‘ATFER’, by Silician DJ/Producer Musumeci. Re-imagining the track with his two decades of playing for international clubs and festivals around the globe, his adaptation of signature dance tempos and club-heavy electronic elements is the perfect wrap-up to this unique EP. We’re excited to see what’s next in-store for Collé.

'Following appearances on acclaimed labels such as Toto Chiavetta's Borders Of Light, MoBlack or Sol Selectas and having recently signed with Super Flu's Monaberry, Yamil is back on his own record label Pieces Of Life with an outstanding new EP called Himbra. Label friend Enai is also making an appearance on remix duty.

Yamil is in a momentous moment, he has been delivering high quality House and Deep House for the last couple of years, steadily forging his reputation as a DJ, Producer, Label Owner and Artist with a unique musical visioning. He also garnered heavy support from the likes of Black Coffe, Dixon, Âme or Pablo Fierro over the summer. Currently based in Madrid his personal sound travels across the globe creating special moments through his original music or dj sets. His latest releases are the best proof of it, most of them have placed themselves on the first positions of Beatport and Traxsource's Top 100 sales charts and he is amassing more than 150k listeners per month on Spotify, sitting himself as one of the most interesting artists to keep an eye on during 2022.

Himbra EP consists of two original tracks and a remix by Girona-based producer Enai. The homonymous track 'Himbra' is built upon the tension of a tight oscillating bass line which gradually increase in intensity and shifts around very subtle drum elements to leads into a flute that becomes the main element of the song at the point of peak and increase the existing energy throughout the whole journey.

Next up is 'New Dawn', a richly atmospheric track that sees Spanish producer incorporate a very heavy hit hat that leads into a dip which is characterized by an emotional piano and synthesizer's build-ups for a transcendent listening experience.

The mood of the EP changes radically with Enai's remix to 'New Dawn', driving energy and hypnotic synth lines, the producer has made the song his own, breaking down the original melodies and bringing it to a more darker and melodic techno vibe.'

Following his massive ‘Magnetik’ EP on Diynamic earlier this year, Italian polymath Malandra Jr makes his debut on Nicole Moudaber’s Mood with two more outstanding pieces of melodic dancefloor noir.

Cathedral-like in their structure and dramatic in their goosebumping aesthetic, both tracks take a left turn from his previous release as we hear a heavier techno element in the Italian artist’s driving narratives. Two tunes that truly capture the imagination and a wry slice of dancefloor mischief, ‘Detuned’ is an outer planetary leap with its psychedelic synth spirals, pulsating bassline and sense of pure fantasy that whips up and up and up in intensity with every twist, turn and build-up.

‘Gestures’ follows suit with similar motifs but a little more introspection and restraint. The bassline struts rather than charges, the lavish synths tell more of a mournful tale that opens out into a fully blown novel comprising steel strings and melting brass before the subtle pianos hit with the bassline like thunder.

Two more epic slabs of timeless electronic music that will whip your whole crowd away to universes they didn’t know existed. It’s time to turn on, detune in and drop out… Malandra Jr can do no wrong right now.

With "Mephisto“ and "42° Celsius“ the Berlin-based producer Matthias Schuell debuts on Blindfold Recordings. Due to his education in classical music, it comes to mind that classical instruments find their way on to Matthias Schuell's productions.

„42° Celsius“ comes in a very minimalistic fashion. A reiterating rhythm rarely unsettled with a big bawl of a bass line is complemented with high triolic pizzicato stabs that are dripping down on the pumping beat. This meditative state is lacerated with a loud and piercing synth figure. The contrast between repetition and disruption is what makes this track unique and interesting, a workable tool for the dance floor.
