Originally released by Musical Freedom, the instrumental edit of 19-year-old Oliver Heldens’ deep house smash ‘Gecko’ has become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. 

The latest edit ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, written and vocalled by Becky Hill during a late night recording session with MNEK, is being released by Parlophone’s vital new dance imprint FFRR. Initially written for another vocalist, Becky’s towering vocal on Gecko’s chorus was deemed the perfect fit and has already been coined the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Zane Lowe.

Efter at jeg overværede min gode ven Anders Dinesen lave et LIVE transition mix af Usher vokalen og Gecko til semi-finalen i Danish Deejay Battle, besluttede jeg mig for selv at lave en version af mixet.

Resultatet er dette transition mix / bootleg af Gecko og Ushers super fede vokal som i mit hoved nærmest er skabt til hinanden. Jeg har krydret mixet med lidt forskellige break-beat, et par baselines og nogle andre effekter.

After i watched my good friend Anders Dinesen performing a LIVE transition mix of Oliver Heldens - Gecko, and Usher - Yeah at the semi-finals of the Danish Deejay Battle (DDJB) this year, I've decided to make a bootleg of the two tracks.

The result is this transition / bootleg mix of Oliver Heldens super awesome instrumental production and Ushers vocals from his track "Yeah".

I've spiced things up a little by adding some different break-beats, a couple of baselines and som other FX's.
