When the poplar trees whisper, the dead are talking. Or maybe it’s God, or memories of people no longer with us. Soundscapes and sonic notes are central to Richard Hronský’s third (bedroom) studio album, Pohreb (The Funeral) – following up thematically on his second release Closures. Squeaking of wooden floors, dim afternoon sunlight coming through the window with bird songs and static in the grandfather’s radio playing in the garage – the record entails the melancholy of growing up and saying goodbye to our loved ones and the world we shared with them. Deeply personal memories and audio sketches tell the oldest story of the life cycle and its inevitable end, but also continuation with generations that come after us.

Album was created in Slovakia, Estonia and Greece, from November 2023 to March 2025.
Most of the tracks were recorded and produced in Bratislava, Slovakia and finished in Athens, Greece.
Field recordings are from the 2018-2025 artists backpack.

This is a casual collection of tracks created in different corners of the world, fully reflecting my taste and perspective on music. It’s filled with intricate details born from escapism - like collages torn from reality, resembling fragments of strangers’ stories accidentally overheard from passersby.

In this compilation are tracks by artists you won’t find on official charts, but whose sound is unforgettable. Noisy loops, crispy beats, distorted vocals, and cold electronics sound as if transmitted through an encrypted channel. Each composition is like a hidden message understood only by those who know where to look.

No rules, no censorship, no regard for algorithms - just the energy of an underground scene born from chaos and anonymity. I dedicate this collection to those who inspired me to create it - to those who once believed in me, believe now, and never stop believing.

Это непринуждённая коллекция композиций, созданных в разных уголках мира и полностью отражающих мой вкус и взгляд на музыку. Она наполнена замысловатыми деталями, рождёнными из эскапизма, - словно коллажи, вырванные из реальности, похожие на обрывки чужих историй, случайно подслушанных у прохожих.

В этом сборнике - треки артистов, которых вы не встретите в официальных чартах, но чей звук невозможно забыть. This work uses oriental sounds, industrial beats, and a variety of noises. However, it minimizes concrete musical elements like scales to maintain an abstract quality. The music is designed to elevate background scores into full-fledged musical pieces that unfold through various scenes.

This album is an attempt to elevate the mood of various cinematic scenes, moving beyond simple background music and into a more musically sublime realm.

Wataru Abe - Swarm [Oblivion]

Mattia Cupelli is an Italian artist based in Rome, Italy.
His sound is influenced by genres as Post-Classical and Dark Ambient sounds to modern Experimental Electronic music and the world between.

Early works are mainly based on Soundtrack, Orchestral Music, and Modern Piano music, which makes himself known through his YouTube channel, which counts over 35 million plays and 130K subscribers.
 
His LP "UNDERNEATH" presents a new ambient/neo-classical sound infused with modern electronic sound. 
“Matching electronic components against a neo-classical sweep, his work recalls the likes of Nicolas Jaar or Ólafur Arnalds, with some Nils Frahm thrown in" (from CLASH Magazine) about ONWARDS Son of Marketing writes: “shows minimal and delicate ambient, evocative whispered vocals, growing rhythms in the second part and an impressive pathos”.

In 2019 releases "EP I" with some old pieces recomposed, followed by "EP II" in 2020, featured new obscure and dark tracks influenced by electronic contemporary music.
Also, is in the production of a project named "REWORK" that features some reimagined old tracks under a new unique style (Rework I and Rework II).
 
In 2021 releases RUINS with a new fresh ethereal sound, with a sense of ancient spirituality. Rock.it described as "a narrative so powerful as to drag into a plot that each of us generates according to our experiences".
