Fantamatres is the outrageous duo formed by Giovanni Donadini (Nastro Mortal, Ottaven, With Love) and Sissy Biasin (Teatro Satanico, Teatrino della Volpe).

Sissy Biasin grew up in the exciting and paranoid late 70's in Veneto, Italy,
probably the most grey and productive area of the spaghetti-land.
Friends with the infamous Great Complotto in Pordenone and prime movers of the italian industrial scene with Teatro Satanico and Teatrino della Volpe.
Mail Art activist and lovers of all the dark, lugubrious, funny and cheesy vernacular tales he mixed all those influences in really personal verbal output.
He works in a Hospital for Mental Health and he loves his lion, called Sasha.

Giovanni Donadini is one of the most volcanic characters from the italian scene, musician, illustrator, silkscreener and fashion designer for people from pluto.

Fantamatres is a collaboration about italian-regional surreal poetry and cheap pulsing electronics, from italo disco to cosmic synth.

Massive sweeps of sub bass underlines this brilliant album. Serene winds of emotional texture mix with bowed strings. Guitars crackle with slight distortion as they hover over fields of tape noise. 

This album probes the depth of the future, where memory transfers into binary form. Digital consciousness in a perpetual loop reliving the past in fractal labyrinths.

Eighteen months on from his last new release, Vancouver-based singer / composer Ian William Craig returns with an (album-length) EP that collects together eleven new tracks. Entitled 'Thresholder', the record sees Craig return towards the smudged and scoured beauty of his 2016 opus, 'Centres'.

Recorded, produced and mastered by Ian William Craig himself, the origins of these tracks span a period from 'A Turn of Breath' to 'Centres'. Some were recorded at Ian's old studio on Vancouver's UBC campus, some at home, and one even recorded on tour in a giant secret underground cistern in Sweden. 

'Thresholder' will be released on 130701 on November 2nd.

Building from a reputation of arresting live performances and critically acclaimed releases Puce Mary breaks new ground with The Drought, evolving from the tropes of industrial and power electronics to forge a complex story of adapting to new realities. Remnants of noise still exist, sustaining the penetrative viscerality offered on previous records, however The Drought demonstrates an intention to expand on the vocabulary of confrontational music and into a grander narrative defined by technical and emotional growth.

Bringing together introspective examination with literary frameworks by writers such as Charles Baudelaire and Jean Genet, Puce Mary’s compositions manifest an ongoing power struggle within the self towards preservation. The traumatised body serves as a dry landscape of which obscured memories and escape mechanisms fold reality into fiction, making sense of desire, loss and control. The Drought presents both danger and opportunity; through rebuilding a creative practice centred on first person narrative and a deliberate collage of field recordings and sound sources Puce Mary injects an acute urgency across the album seeking resilience.

“To Possess Is To Be In Control” makes use of lyrical repetition as an ambiguity of two selves, or a divided self, attempting to consume one another, while “Red Desert,” named after Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1964 film, portrays the individual subsumed by surrounding environmental forces. The seven-minute epic “The Size of Our Desires” acts as the emotional tipping point of the record; amongst the ominous drone and dense feedback flutters almost-beatific melodies, while the lyrics reveal a romantic call to be swept up in the midst of an increasingly uninhabitable world.

Rather than escape, The Drought dramatises a metamorphosis in which vulnerability is confronted through regeneration. Noise and aggression no longer act as an affront to react against but part of a ‘corporeal architecture’ where space, harmony and lyricism surface from the harsh tropes of industrial music. The Drought chronologises a transformation through a psychological famine, new ways of coping akin to plant survival in a desert – to live without drying out.

The Haxan Cloak - The Mirror Reflecting (Part 2)

Mattia Cupelli is an Italian artist based in Rome, Italy.
His sound is influenced by genres as Post-Classical and Dark Ambient sounds to modern Experimental Electronic music and the world between.

Early works are mainly based on Soundtrack, Orchestral Music, and Modern Piano music, which makes himself known through his YouTube channel, which counts over 35 million plays and 130K subscribers.
 
His LP "UNDERNEATH" presents a new ambient/neo-classical sound infused with modern electronic sound. 
“Matching electronic components against a neo-classical sweep, his work recalls the likes of Nicolas Jaar or Ólafur Arnalds, with some Nils Frahm thrown in" (from CLASH Magazine) about ONWARDS Son of Marketing writes: “shows minimal and delicate ambient, evocative whispered vocals, growing rhythms in the second part and an impressive pathos”.

In 2019 releases "EP I" with some old pieces recomposed, followed by "EP II" in 2020, featured new obscure and dark tracks influenced by electronic contemporary music.
Also, is in the production of a project named "REWORK" that features some reimagined old tracks under a new unique style (Rework I and Rework II).
 
In 2021 releases RUINS with a new fresh ethereal sound, with a sense of ancient spirituality. Rock.it described as "a narrative so powerful as to drag into a plot that each of us generates according to our experiences".
