Interrupt Music is proud to present its latest release – ‘DJ Pon Di Circuit’, a four track single featuring veteran London MC Clapper Priest. Original mix produced by Interrupt, with a jungle remix from Bristol based producer Amen Shamen, plus instrumental mixes of both the original and remix.

DJ Pon Di Circuit pays homage to Clapper Priest’s many years of working the London Soundsystem circuit, with lyrics dedicated to calling out colonialism and environmental destruction caused by the capitalist Babylon system. Clapper’s vocals are backed by a frantic and quirky ‘digi-steppa’ style riddim from Interrupt, inspired by the sounds of 80s UK dancehall, incorporating vintage synths, orchestra hits and fast-paced digital drum patterns.

The remix from Amen Shamen gives the track a unique jungle/drum & bass treatment, with a highly progressive track which evolves through multiple drops, incorporating glitched out drum breaks and deep,
heavy jungle basslines.

So weather you’re a reggae head or a junglist, these tracks have been tried and tested and are guaranteed to set the dancehall on fire!
