Producer Matt Interrupt from Reggae Roast soundsystem has teamed up with south London MCs Deemas J and Mista Jago for the full length album ‘We Don’t Stop’!

This 9 track album is packed full of reggae and dancehall scorchers, with Deemas J showcasing his unique and varied vocal style alongside the raw and heavy ragga tones of Mista Jago. Together, the two MCs tackle a broad range of lyrical subjects and styles, backed by Interrupt’s contemporary take on late 80s and early 90s style dancehall riddims.

The album features guest appearances from Irish reggae and world music singer Cian Finn, providing vocals on the track ‘Keep the Faith’ and London based MC Clapper Priest, featuring on the title track ‘We Don’t Stop’, with additional backing vocals from Sarah Telman and horns by Papa B.

From the fun and quirky upbeat sounds of Roller Boot Disco and Summertime, to bass-heavy soundsystem tunes such as Sweet Little Bird and Rollercoaster Ride, this album is sure to tick all the boxes for any fan of soundsystem and dancehall music, featuring a broad range of tunes designed to keep the crowd dancing and keep the ears engaged!

A wonderful thing when 2 people come together from different corners of the world and unite through music, sharing their experiences and building blocks to support shared ideas. This is exactly what happened with Dreadsquad and Blackout JA when, at Uprising Festival, Slovakia, the pair met, bonded and decided to spend a week writing and recording to produce what is now the main body of 'World Destruction’.

The result, as Dreadsquad feels, ‘is at the same time very diverse and cohesive’ and this is down to a number of things; namely the production techniques used, the style of Blackouts vocals and the natural way that all of the songs came together to reflect the current atmosphere of the world.

Subject matters of the songs move through corruption, poverty, mind control, war on drugs, police brutality and the destruction of the world we are living in but they also highlight positivity and solutions spreading love and giving people hope.

The 2 singles being lifted from the album, ‘Last Tune’ and ‘A Girl Like You’, will be put to good use on both the radio and dance floor, then the album as a whole takes in many different genres; Roots Reggae, Digital / Raggamuffin, UK Steppas, Rub a Dub with influences of World Music and EDM.

The first cut on Mungo's sweltering re-lick of Derrick Harriott's Solomon riddim is voiced by none other than dancehall singing legend Little John who puts the focus where he feels it belongs - onto sound systems unwise enough not to employ his services. On the flip you can catch snippets of Little John's cover of the original Solomon vocal in a dub.  
The riddim track was recorded by Prince Fatty, with Horseman on Drums, Mafia on bass and keyboard, Kashta Tafari on guitar and brass from Glasgow's own Unique Horns.

The second cut on the riddim, DJ Queen is an answer tune to Mr Williamz’ forthcoming Industry track (on Scotch Bonnet next year) where Willz called out a sound system social butterfly drawn to the hype, Spanish emcee Ponchita Peligros reminds the reggae fraternity that a woman's place is upon the mic - not hanging backstage. 
The flipside is a U-Roy infused Rastaman chant from Iration Steppas deejay Danman. 

The two 7” singles are limited to a 300 hand numbered press. They will only be shipped direct from Scotland www.scotchbonnet.net - No digital, vinyl only.
