Carrie is a young singer songwriter from Kildare and describes her style as ‘country crossover’. 

“From the time I was small,
I’ve always listened to and been inspired 
by country music”. Her style is rooted in an
honest blend of American Country and Pop. With her palette of influences striving from Brad Paisley to Tammy Wynette, she emits a beautiful and emotionally real sound that wins over many listeners.


In 2011, Carrie received major accolades and recognition from her appearance on “The Voice” in Ireland. She reached the battle stages but unfortunately lost out due to stylistic differences. Her chair-turning “Blind Audition” with the show can be viewed here:

Carrie has studied music for a total of six years, firstly in the Ballyfermot College of Further Education and then in BIMM Dublin, where she has recently received her B.A Honours Degree in Commercial Modern Music.
In 2014, Carrie celebrated her Debut Ep that was distributed globally through INgrooves/Universal to over 100 countries. This includes “The Letter Goodbye”, her single and video off the Ep.
Ms. Haskins is also recognized as a CMT Artist, receiving this branding through star ones entertainment’s licensing deal with Viacom. This has resulted with her attaining her own site on Viacom.TV, featuring the video “The Letter Goodbye”. Her records can be described as a Mix of upbeat and slower relaxed ballads. Lush instrumentation intertwined with rich vocal lines and harmonies make for a captivating and rapturing listen. From the opening country spirit to the closing revenge, it’s clear from start to end that you, the listener are on a journey of highs and lows, lyrically melodically and instrumentally. 

In November 16’, Carrie and her writing partner travelled to Nashville where they spent a period of two weeks showcasing, co-writing and performing in a number of popular venues throughout the music city. In Nashville, she worked with two- time Grammy nominate songwriter Jan Buckingham and recording artist Shelby Lee Lowe. She is currently recording her studio album which will have a compilation of songs that were written in Nashville with various Artists. Her Ep ‘Country Spirit’ can be purchased on many streaming sites such as itunes, Spotify and Amazon.

Sive is a songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist with a voice that “sweeps along displaying folk and jazz nuances with the confidence of one who knows" (Eamon Carr, The Herald). Her unique sound weaves together her love for the craft of songwriting with her enthusiasm for experimentation and intricate arrangements.

Sive first began to delve into songwriting when she was 15 and an old bandmate showed her some songs she had written. She thought to herself “Hmm, maybe I could do that too” and so off she went with a head full of excitement and an old tape recorder. Back then multi-tracking involved two blank tapes, two tape decks and lots of patience. It was all very hi-tech.

When she finished school Sive went to Ballyfermot College to study music, but it was only really when she took part in an international bandcamp in Germany that she managed to pluck up the courage to front her own band (mainly because she didn’t have a choice). After that, she upped sticks to the Netherlands where she was awarded a scholarship and spent some time rehearsing, gigging and recording with some fine Dutch musicians. Since then she has been somewhat of a musical shapeshifter, working as a session vocalist and musician, facilitating music workshops and directing choirs. In 2014 she decided to pursue a Masters in Community Music which has led her to become involved in a number of Arts & Health projects around Kildare and Dublin.

Sive released her first album of original material, We Are Moving, to critical acclaim in 2012. In the years that followed she toured extensively in Ireland, The UK, Europe and New Zealand, sharing stages with the likes of Lisa Hannigan, Kila, Cathy Davey, Mick Flannery, Christy Moore, John Spillane and Gemma Hayes along the way. She was voted viewer’s choice to appear on RTE's  Other Voices in 2014 and has also performed on TG4’s Róisín, TV3’s Ireland AM, ARTE's Metropolis (Germany/France) and ETV’s Terevisioon (Estonia).

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, Sive released her second album The Roaring Girl in 2017.
