I Noveis, rock indie italiano, nascono verso la fine dell’estate 2001 nella provincia di Vercelli.  
Propongono brani originali di genere rock italiano ispirandosi però alla scena britannica di band come Beatles, Rolling Stones e The Who fino a giungere a formazioni più attuali come Oasis e Coldplay. 

Partendo da presupposti “britannici” mischiano ad essi le esperienze dei singoli componenti, portando nelle sonorità dei loro brani influenze che spaziano dal rock-pop italiano, al blues, fino ad arrivare al noise contemporaneo e alla musica elettronica.

Nel 2005 esce un LP con  5 brani “Tutto bene casualmente”, nel 2007 “Echi di giorni strani”, altro LP con 7 brani.  Il lavoro più recente è un concept album dal titolo “Dall’una alle due” che contiene 13 tracce basate sulla storia di Pier, nata per uno spettacolo teatrale.

Dal 2002 vengono selezionati per diversi contest a livello nazionale arrivando spesso alle fasi finali. Nel gennaio 2004 vengono selezionati dallo staff del “ROLLING STONE” di Milano per esibirsi in occasione del "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE" e nel febbraio 2005, sempre per la stessa manifestazione, aprono la serata al gruppo headliner “Super Elastic Bubble Plastic”. 
Il 20 agosto 2008 si esibiscono presso “ARCIPELAGO” di Piazza d’Armi a Torino nel contesto delle TOINDIENIGHT ed il 22 novembre dello stesso anno si esibiscono al “BAMBOLINA CAFE’” di Parigi. Il 6 maggio 2011 la band suona al KOKO club di Castelletto Ticino (BI). Il 26 marzo 2014 la band si esibisce nello storico locale milanese le "Scimmie”. Il 14-15 Novembre 2014 sono a Londra per due date, di cui una al Nambucca e una al Workshop. 

I Noveis sono Massimo Benedetti (Voce), Andrea Deregibus (Voce/Chitarra Ritmica), Lorenza Ronza (Basso), Fabio Badano (Batteria/percussioni) e Matteo Sarasso (Tastiera/Pianoforte).
