Following his remix for Max Cooper, Mattr’s next releases are two electronica / breaks tracks on his own imprint Loft & Sound. With these two records Mattr continues to build out his crafted approach to electronica with two intricately layered and textural records. Tal features syncopated melodies, heavy bass and
melancholic pads. Rand fuses granular synthesis and found sounds with delicate instrumental utters to create an optimistic and atmospheric record.

This mix was composed after a trip west to Cleveland and Chicago, then back home through Pittsburgh. A series of serendipitous circumstances found me spinning in Chicago on a Thursday evening. While I was travelling, my boy Dao worked out the details from afar on my behalf. It was great to have Alyssa with me for this one. We had a great time, then enjoyed Chicago the next day. We did the architectural boat tour. What an aesthetically pleasing city Chicago is. When we returned home, my boy Damian was in town from Orlando, so we threw down some records for a few hours. It has been a full July, and I am grateful for all my friends and family. All this contributes to the mix you find below. Thanks for listening, for real.

@bridgepl - Odkąd pamięta muzyka stanowi ważny element jego życia. Już jako dziecko nie rozstawał się z magnetofonem. Jako nastolatek prowadził dyskoteki szkolne i te organizowane przez Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury. Punktem zwrotnym okazało się poznanie DJ KiD, który pozakał mu pracę dj'a od zaplecza. Zafascynowany tym światem postanowił iść dalej. Grał w wielu polskich ale także w kilku słowackich klubach, zdobywca wicemistrzostwa Podkarpacia. Uwielbia progressive i melodic house ale w swoich setach zawsze się bawi muzyką i stara się łączyć kilka jej gatunków (stąd "Bridge"). Lubi grać spokojnie ale także mocniej i bardziej energetycznie, o czym będziecie mogli przekonać się słuchając kolejnej części tego podcastu.

 Since he can remember, music has been an important part of his life. Even as a child he never parted with his tape recorder. As a teenager he hosted school discos and those organized by the Youth Cultural Center. The turning point turned out to be meeting DJ KiD, who introduced him to the work of a DJ from behind the scenes. Fascinated by this world, he decided to go further. He played in many Polish but also in several Slovak clubs, winner of the Sub-Carpathianvice-championship. He loves progressive and melodic house, but in his sets he always plays with music and tries to combine several of its genres (hence "Bridge"). He likes to play calmly but also harder and more energetic, which you will be able to find out by listening to the next part of this podcast.
