Matt Shrewd Artist/Producer/DJ/Label Owner (AKA Shrewd, Distant Funk, Pushing Boundaries).
Matt Shrewd, originally from the legendary Shrewd Sound System Collective, a group of like minded underground house DJs from the Midlands Uk free party/club scene.
Being massively influenced from the likes of DIY & Smokescreen sound systems back in the early 90’s Matts passion for DJing soon became apparent and he naturally progressed into the production side of the industry. 
Matt’s quirky live sounding funky bass and cheeky sampling soon had him noticed and things moved on very quickly, having numerous top releases out on some of the best underground house labels in the business, Myna, Drop, Guesthouse, Bambino, KolourRecordings, Tango, Nightshift & LingoRecordings to name a few!
With his continued success in the early 2000’s Matt then progressed into launching his own independent Vinyl labels, with the help of Primal records owner and friend Olivier Desmet, it was from here Flavor Recordings/Shrewd Music & Gooch Records were born.
Matt has just returned to producing again after a few years away after having his first release out ‘Dusty Crimes Ep’ on Odour Recordings, which received some great feedback and support from industry legends!!

Bens thirst and passion for house music is something thats run deep for nearly 30years. Dancing on the floors of Fabric and The End to DJ's that have influenced him such as Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Diz, Jesse Rose, Craig Richards and Terry Francis. Now having  over 20 years DJ experience and playing alongside house heavyweights such as Inland Knights, Trevor Loveys and Bugz in the Attic. Ben is now resident and promotor for his own night House Is Where The Heart Is which is gracing many a dance floors across Kent’s South East coastal towns. Ben   often creates mixes at home and you can find all he does right here........Enjoy

Iain McArthur- Started his house music pursuit with Peterborough’s most renowned Deep House Sound System Safe & Sound, With his brother Andrew McArthur.
The McArthur brothers began playing for the likes of Grooveyard sound system in the late 90’s, following on to hold a residency for Dizzyfunk House Music Collective and continually rocking the dance floors for the legendary Nottingham based Sound System Smokescreen. 
In 2001 the pair along with the other members formed SAS and began playing at venues up and down the country in doors and out, Then onto Prague and Goa in India. They frequently hook up with the likes of DiY, Rugkutta, Duvet Crew, Wireless, Shrewd, Bable, and Deep Cartel and all the rest of the UK free party seen and more recently they have played alongside none other than Tango record's Lurob in Bristol.
