Hi Mattt. Today I'm listening again to this and I once more find it so very rich and organic. Water-surf-waves-dripping-wind are such fruitful sources for acousmaticians, aren't they. ...then there's the voice, which is probably the queen of sources.

The Billows That Break explores the manifestations of energy in the sea and air around the Scarborough South Bay seafront and the sonic environments that accommodate them.
The manifestations are varied, real and imagined: the lapping of tide to the slapping of wave on seawall... the whistling wind to the blustering gale... the effervescence of eddies to the simmering phone conversation (?)

Please check the video links below, i would like to know your thoughts especially on the science facts, my conclusion is we are all ancient star people somehow trapped and enslaved with lost untold and repressed powers, which i somehow new deep down and have personally always had a strong calling to the stars and the resonance of sound or music, which is what we all collectively feel and is more than likey why we are all obsessed with music as a species soaking up those vibrating magnetic frequencies and somehow still making connections with ancient repressed abilities! In this piece I used sounds recorded in a domestic environment.
Sounds recorded and converted into a daw with granular synthesis, slowing of sounds and reverberated sound spaces give life to this sound environment not entirely innovative, but unique in its form
Taking up the mechanisms of the pioneers of concrete music and acousmatic art, I tried to rework the sounds of the world and of everyday life by creating this experimental flow.

Suoni registrati e convertiti in una daw con sintesi granulare , rallentamento dei suoni e spazi sonori riverberati danno vita a questo ambiente sonoro non del tutto innovativo, ma unico nella sua forma
Riprendendo i meccanismi dei pionieri della musica concreta e dell'arte acusmatica , ho cercato di rielaborare i suoni del mondo e della vita di tutti i giorni creando questo flusso sperimentale.
