LORD PUSSWHIP IS RICH is the highly anticipated new full length solo album from Icelandic musician Lord Pusswhip, known for his offbeat hip-hop productions and spine-tingling club bangers. LORD PUSSWHIP IS RICH has been in the works since 2015, which will complete his “Lord Pusswhip Is…” trilogy, starting with his debut LORD PUSSWHIP IS WACK in 2015, followed up by the compilation LORD PUSSWHIP IS DEAD in 2017. 

The album was composed during Pusswhip’s stays and travels throughout Europe and the US during recent years. The songs were recorded in smokey studios and dingy backrooms in Berlin, Reykjavik, London, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and New York.

 LORD PUSSWHIP IS RICH has the feel of a classic producer album, mixed with dance-floor musings that span everything from trap, breakbeat and footwork to noise, ambient and trip-hop. Guests include Left Brain from MellowHype and Odd Future, Trippjones, the underground rap king of New York, the silky sweet singer/songwriter Avice Caro from London and experimental wunderkind Dviance from France.

Remixers include DJ Manny (Teklife), Julien Andreas (DNA) and AATH, the avant-garde IDM producer from Iceland better known as astvaldur.
LORD PUSSWHIP IS RICH - the newest experiment in terror, is bound to be one of the most exciting records to come out of Iceland in recent years. The album will be the first release on Pusswhip’s own upcoming label HEAVY KNIFE RECORDS.

For years, keenanfromlimbo (@keenanfromlimbo) has been a known figure in the Philadelphia DIY scene - organizing a number of underground events and providing opportunities artists and DJs to perform. This time, we get a taste of his released and unreleased catalogues, showing off a diverse array of sounds, textures, and rhythms.⁣

JEWELSSEA (@jewelssea) is an electronic musician and DJ based in Philadelphia. Soulful, sometimes spacey melodies and groovy drum breaks drive their sound. Styles include house, techno, UKG, jungle, Baltimore and Jersey club, r&b, and trap blends (at times, all in one set).⁣
⁣
Desamores (@aeron-colmenar) is Philadelphia based DJ mainly spinning techno/DnB—this set promises serious rhythms and wicked grooves.⁣

Ky must die (@user-480626961) gives us a tracklist for those who desire constantly and need to feel sensual at all times (or else...) ♡⁣
