I’ve been a huge fan of Dead Limit since it first started being played in sets. The carefully crafted high-stakes tension building towards the drop makes it an ideal peak time dance floor destroyer. This deliberate focus gave me the idea that it might also work really well as a Hardcore track. At first attempting to make this was mostly an “out-there” experiment and as such I ended up posting a small snippet to Explorers of the Internet (a collective for silly audio ideas me and some other producers have). Unexpectedly, it was received with much love and enthusiasm, giving me the confidence to clean it up and send it to Thijs. Given that it was such an abrasive take on the original I never expected him to like it in the slightest, but he did! And it ended up being played in the last few Noisia sets ever. Unreal to see, and getting to release it now is icing on the cake!
